Terms and Conditions for Progress Tiling

 

1. Agreement:

By engaging the services of Progress Tiling, you ("the Client") agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the Client and Progress Tiling.

 

2. Scope of Work:

2.1 Progress Tiling will provide professional tiling services as outlined in the agreed-upon project scope and specifications.

2.2 Progress Tiling reserves the right to make adjustments or modifications to the project scope with the Client's prior agreement.

 

3. Client Responsibilities:

3.1 The Client is responsible for engaging a licensed plumber for any necessary plumbing work related to the project. Progress Tiling will not be held responsible for any damages or issues resulting from the work of other contractors.

3.2 The Client acknowledges that the suitability of the substrate is crucial for proper tiling installation. Progress Tiling cannot guarantee the performance or longevity of the tiling work if the substrate is deemed unsuitable.

 

4. Payment Terms:

4.1 The Client agrees to pay Progress Tiling the agreed-upon amount for the services provided.

4.2 Payment is due as outlined in the agreed-upon payment schedule or upon completion of the project, unless otherwise specified in writing.

 

5. Liability:

5.1 Progress Tiling will exercise due care and skill in providing tiling services. However, Progress Tiling will not be liable for any damages, losses, or injuries arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

5.2 Progress Tiling does not offer silicone work as part of its services. The Client acknowledges that any silicone work required must be arranged and performed by a separate contractor.

 

6. Intellectual Property:

6.1 Progress Tiling retains ownership of any intellectual property, including designs, concepts, or drawings created during the course of the project, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

 

7. Termination:

7.1 Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice if the other party breaches any material terms or fails to fulfill its obligations.

7.2 In the event of termination, the Client agrees to compensate Progress Tiling for the work completed up to that point.

 

8. Governing Law:

8.1 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
